DUMB DOWN VOTING IN FLORIDA OR SOMETHING
ELSE?, Nov., 2000
Are the voters in Florida as dumb as it would
appear? Or is there something more sinister going on?
While the media
and across America, attention is focused on butterfly-ballots and elderly
voters who cannot complete a ballot, beneath the surface is brewing yet another
incremental attack on the Constitution of the United States of America by
Socialists determined to quietly overthrow this country.
As has been
their method for years, Socialists understand that they will not be able to
radically change this country over night. Rather, theirs is a step-by-step
incremental approach of first undermining the foundations of this country by
creating doubt and distrust by the TV-educated and uninformed American public.
As
politicians and lawyers descend upon Florida for hand recounts upon recounts,
Americans are fed a daily dose of propaganda designed to sway them away from
the Constitutionally established norm of electing Presidents in this country.
Perhaps for the first time in history, the next President of the United States
will not be elected by the Electorate system, but rather by the Courts.
Is this
something new? Hardly! The Socialist influenced Courts have systematically been
disassembling the U.S. Constitution - one line and one amendment at a time.
Years ago, the Constitutionally established right to coin money in the U.S. was
turned over to the privately held banks (Federal Reserve) and a system of
taxation has been established to ensure the poverty of most Americans. Rights
once guaranteed to Americans by the First, Second, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth,
Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Amendments of the Constitution have been stripped from
the population. The right to life of unborn babies has been denied them by the
courts, the right to pray to their creator God has been denied young Americans
in schools across the country. The right to peaceably demonstrate has been
denied abortion protesters. The right to a fair and speedy trial has been
denied to minority groups of all races. And, the list goes on.
This latest
attack on the Constitution does not come as a surprise. It is simply part and
parcel of an ongoing and systematic
dismantling
of our Constitution. And, folks, Democrats and Republicans alike are not
only being duped by the Socialist propaganda, but in many cases are championing
it. Open
your eyes! Because everything you have taken for granted will soon be gone if
you don't begin to do something about it.
CHILDREN'S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION
ACT, April 22, 2000
Once again, the
federal government is working "for the children."
Government
agents plan to surf thousands of Web sites to ensure they are complying with a
new federal law that bans Internet companies from collecting personal
information from children without a parent's permission. Under the Children's
Online Privacy Protection Act, which goes into effect April 21, 2000, sites
that collect personal information like a name or address from a child under age
13 without a parent's permission could be fined as much as $11,000.
On the surface,
this NEW federal regulation seemingly protecting children seems reasonable. But
its reasonableness stops at the surface. In reality, this is just the first
veiled attempt by the federal government to further extend its heavy hand into
ecommerce exploding on the Internet.
Taxing ecommerce
on the Internet is not too far behind this one! As with nearly all Clinton
Administration efforts, the real agenda behind this Act is "money, control, and
jurisdiction." This law begins to give the socialists in government the
jurisdiction necessary to control the Internet using the powers of the FTC
(Federal Trade Commission) - in the name of "the children." The $11,000 fine is
their control mechanism requiring sites to comply or pay. The money part
follows later... either through taxes, user fees, or some other Clintonisque
payment. Watch for it... it's coming!
The impact this
law will have on small business is still yet to be seen, but the possibilities
are downright scary. One outcome that seems evident is that it will tend to
drive small Internet companies out of business by imposing on them a huge
financial burden of compliance with federal law. If you collect names for a
mailing list, will you now have to verify the persons age? What if you maintain
on on-line Forum, a guestbook, user survey, or conduct an on-line contest? Will
you now have to move your web site to a secure server and implement credit card
verification services? Will you be required to maintain a database that parents
can use to review the information you have online? What will the costs be to
implement all that?
Already
commercial Web sites are scrambling to get ready for the new rules, which
require sites to get parental permission before obtaining any information from
kids under the age of 13. Some sites are spending hundreds of thousands of
dollars to make their sites compliant with the rules. How many small business
do you think can afford that kind of expenditure to
comply with
federal law?
Web site
operators who operate commercial sites directed at children under 13 and who
collect personal information about them OR those who operate a general audience
web site and have actual knowledge that it collects personal information from
children under 13 will have to comply with the rule. To be in compliance a web
site will have to post notices about their practices on their sites; obtain
verifiable parental consent - either by credit card, signed document or some
other form of verification - before collecting and disseminating that
information. The law also includes a provision that would permit parents of
children under 13, with proper identification, to review the information and
stop its disclosure.

PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN?, Nov. 16,
1999 Were
Washington Liquor Control Board agents with the assistance of Troopers from the
Washington State Patrol and agents with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco
and Firearms who stopped a truck and van on Interstate 5 in Washington Saturday
doing so to protect the children? Perhaps they were concerned that Washington
residents would be exposed to some health risk if the trucks made it to their
destination. Were the trucks transporting escaped criminals or illegal aliens
or packed with explosives? Just what motivated their action?
It was not the
children they were thinking of or the health or safety of residents of
Washington. They weren't after escaped criminals and they had no hopes of
averting another Oklahoma City type explosion. No, they were there to collect
their 82.5 cent per-pack tax on cigarettes headed to Indian reservations in
Washington. According to an article in the
Seattle
Post-Intelligencer, apparently, the state of Washington loses about $115
million a year in taxes not being paid on cigarettes bought at smoke shops on
sovereign Indian reservations in Washington.
Because the
state does not have jurisdiction on reservations, it cannot go after the smoke
shops, Tricia Currier, a liquor board spokeswoman said. Instead, state
investigators go after large shipments. The state plans to auction the
cigarettes off to wholesalers, who will be taxed.
What happened to
their "for the children" mantra, or their concern of escalating health care
costs for smokers? Folks, it's not about children or health care ... it's ALL
ABOUT MONEY!
GENOCIDE AGAINST BLACKS, Oct. 11,
1999 Comb
the mainstream liberal newspapers and you'll likely NOT find the story about
the African-Americans who held a three-day civil rights march this weekend on
behalf of the estimated 1,452 black children who are aborted every day in the
United States. With a little digging, however, I did find a news report in
Religion
Today. With all the talk about "hate" crimes going on right now, you'd
think this kind of story would be in the headlines. But, since it's the kind of
government and societal sanctioned hate crime, little is made of it.
What these
marchers want to point out is that abortion is the biggest killer of
African-Americans and they consider the practice to be genocide against blacks.
Former Green Bay Packer Reggie White said that, "quite simply, the history of
the abortion rights movement is a history of genocide against black Americans."
The abortion rates for blacks are higher than any racial or ethnic group, says
the Alan Guttmacher Institute, the research arm of Planned Parenthood. Whites
have abortions at the rate of 18 per 1,000 women, while black women have
abortions at the rate of 38 per 1,000. In a US News and World Report article
dated August 12, 1996, results about abortion from the Alan Guttmacher
Institute stated, "Blacks who make up 14% of all childbearing women, have 31%
of all abortions and whites, who account for 81% of women of childbearing age,
have 61%". Since Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton over 10 million African American
babies have been sacrificed for any reason or no reason in "clinics" offering
"safe" and legal abortions.
Johnny Hunter, a
black pastor and a march organizer, said "Black people love children, but the
whole idea of choice' they bought into is a lie." Hunter is national
director of Life Education and Resources
Network, an African-American pro-life ministry that publishes information
about "the racist origins" of Planned Parenthood, the country's largest
abortion provider.
Indeed, it's a
lie propagated by racist whites and population controllers in an effort to wipe
out the black race. Margaret Sanger popularized the notion in 1934 in the
American Weekly Magazine. She wrote of Planned Parenthood's plan to rid the
world of "inferior" human groups. In the June 1932 issue of Margaret Sanger's
magazine, The Birth Control Review, Elmer Carter, a magazine editor,
wrote an article titled "Eugenics for the Negro" in which he states "that the
race problem in America is infinitely aggravated by the presence of too many
unhappy born, sub-normals, morons, and imbeciles of both races. Therefore,
those fighting for birth control must take eugenics into consideration."
Eugenics is the
ideology of neo-Malthusianism and socialism which Margaret Sanger promoted that
seeks to improve races through the control of hereditary factors--encouraging
reproduction from those who are assumed to have the best genes. Neo-Malthusians
of the 20th century based their ideas on Robert Malthus's 19th century view of
population growth which was "population will always grow faster than available
food supply."
Juluette
Bartlett Pack, in her article, "A Historical View of
Eugenics and Its Role in Abortion in Black America," wrote, "Subsequently,
the seeds of the eugenics movement of which abortion is only one way it is
manifested, are bearing a bountiful harvest today, For every 3 Black babies
born, 2 are aborted. Every month more than 133, 333 babies are aborted, more
than 4 1,000 are Black Americans. It is no accident that 78% of abortuaries are
located in or near predominately minority neighborhoods."
It is no
surprise to me that the liberal news media does not report these facts and
keeps the story of black Americans protesting genocide buried in their
newspapers. After all, most of these same newspapers, along with their editors,
support the neo-malthusian and socialist ideology and don't want black
Americans to know what plans they have in store for them. It is possibly one of
the largest "hate crimes" in America today, yet it is "white"washed and
promoted by our top national leaders and even many within our
communities.
WHO BENEFITS FROM CLINTON'S TAX CUT
VETO?, Sept. 29, 1999
When President
Clinton vetoed the most recent Republican tax cut legislation, he said he was
doing so to protect the children (education) and the elderly (social security).
Never mind he has already claimed victories over those issues.
Within days of
his veto, Mr. Clinton announced to the heads of the World Bank and the
International Monetary Fund that he will take a major step to help wipe out the
debt owed by some of the world's poorest countries. "I am directing my
administration to make it possible to forgive 100 percent of the debt these
countries owe to the United States," Clinton said. What do you suppose made it
possible to forgive those debts? Your taxes possibly? Smacks of the socialist
redistribution of income, don't you think?
Mr Clinton also
announced he was giving himself a raise! Not the sort of raise that working
Americans are accustomed to ... No! He doubled his and subsequent Presidents
paychecks. I don't think he mentioned children or the elderly when he did that.
To be fair, it should also be noted that it was not just Presidential pay
raises that were on the table. Congress also gave themselves a nice pay raise,
thanks to the American taxpayer.
ANOTHER REASON FOR MEDIA BIAS TOWARDS
CHRISTIANS, Sept. 17, 1999
Michael Medved
had another observation about the shootings at Wedgwood Baptist Church in Fort
Worth, Tx and why the media has not given the incident much press. In comparing
the event to what happened at Columbine High School in Colorado, many people
including those in the media could relate to the Colorado students who were
shot much more because those kids could have been their own. You know the kind:
white middle class kids, jocks and cheerleaders, attending public school. Just
like the reporters kids, right?
Now how well do
you suppose those same reporters and editors can relate to a group of kids
attending a Christian worship activity? And Baptist to boot? I would imagine
that Baptists are a bit too conservative for them and they couldn't imagine
THEIR kids at such an event. Not mainstream or liberal enough for them and as a
result not deserving of the news coverage given to jocks and cheerleaders being
shot.
TROUBLED LONER KILLS SEVEN AND SELF IN
TEXAS CHURCH, Sept. 15, 1999
Kill a black
person and it's a hate crime. Kill a homosexual and it's a hate crime. Kill a
Jew and it's a hate crime. Kill children in a high school and it's a hate
crime. Kill Christian teens in a church and all the pundits can't figure out
what might have been the motive.
This latest
rampage in Fort Worth Texas not only reinforces the fact that our culture is in
decline, but it also points out the bias of the news media and the hatred that
liberals have towards Christianity. Had this shooting involved a black church,
Jewish synagogue, homosexual bath house, or high school campus, all the
mainstream media reporters would be on location with live reports and news
special reports focusing on dissecting the scene of the crime. Commentators
would fill the airwaves with pleas of anti-hatred propaganda.
Not so when
Christians are murdered in a church in Texas. What little coverage the media
did devote, they spent most of the time talking about a mentally disturbed
person, a troubled loner, who apparently acted randomly. No mention of hate!
I'm sure
part of the reason the media did not devote much coverage was because they were
so focused on reporting about a Hurricane battering the East coast. The media
spent days reporting about a storm they initially described as possibly the
largest storm to ever hit the United States. So much was made of the storm that
many East coast communities were evacuated in what has been described as the
largest peace time evacuation in U.S. history. Schools were closed, businesses
were closed, government offices were closed and even the Disney amusement park
was closed for the first time in history. As it turned out, there was very
little loss of life and damage was far less than anticipated. Even after the
storm was downgraded to not more than a tropical storm, the news media
continued to report about it.
I believe what
we really have here is a good example of the bigotry and hatred that the
mainstream media has against Christianity. It's apparent from the lack of news
coverage afforded the story in Texas. And, it's apparent from the lack of
reporting (or should I say slanted and biased reporting) ignoring the hate
crimes angle. To the liberal news media, an angry man shouting anti-Christian
slurs and curse words as he shoots down innocent Christian children is not
filled with "hate" but only acting on a random act. How pathetic.
Attorney General
Janet Reno said it was too soon to declare the attack a hate crime. We
should just find out what happened and why, she said at her weekly news
briefing. President Bill Clinton, in the predictable "for the children"
statement to reporters at the White House, said the attack should serve to
remind parents that we have to redouble our efforts to protect our
children. We know we have to act as if it were our own children being
targeted. To his credit, Texas Gov. George W. Bush cut short a
presidential campaign trip in Michigan to return to Texas and add some
comfort. Its hard to explain how somebody would have enough
hatred in their heart to walk into a church where people are seeking Gods
guidance and shoot them, he said.
Well, Ms. Reno,
Mr. Clinton and Gov. Bush, I've said it before and it bears repeating now,
while your are so busy studying the problem, you simply can't see (or refuse to
see) what is clearly before
you. And, why don't they see it? Because as the Bible says,
"The way of peace they do not know; there is
no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who
walks in them will know peace. So justice is far from us, and righteousness
does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but
we walk in deep shadows. Like the blind we grope along the wall, feeling our
way like men without eyes. At midday we stumble as if it were twilight; among
the strong, we are like the dead. We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully
like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far
away. For our offenses are many in your sight, and our sins testify against us.
Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities: rebellion and
treachery against the LORD, turning our backs on our God, fomenting oppression
and revolt, uttering lies our hearts have conceived. So justice is driven back,
and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets,
honesty cannot enter. Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil
becomes a prey." (Isaiah 59:8-15)
